Panel height, footprint and aisles
Low panels keep sightlines and daylight open; taller panels reduce visual distraction. Height alone does not guarantee speech privacy, so plan separately for calls. Workstation footprint should leave the chair room to move and keep primary aisles clear and accessible.
Our hybrid-layout guide explains sizing for peak attendance rather than total headcount, which can change how many stations you actually need.
Checking a used cubicle system
With used systems, completeness is the main risk. Ask for and check:
- An exact count of panels, connectors, posts and end caps
- Work surfaces, brackets and supports for every station
- Fabric condition on panels across the whole lot, not one sample
- Whether power components are included and who will assess them
- Keys for any overhead or pedestal storage
Power and data
Panel systems may include raceways for cabling. Any connection to building power must be assessed and performed by a qualified electrician. We do not perform electrical work.
